About the event
This workshop / working bee is designed for senior practitioners, students, early career academics or anyone keen to write for academic publication.
The interactive session will have several parts:
- Identifying what might be suitable for publication - bring your article ideas/ thesis or potentially suitable essays.
- Finding appropriate journals to submit your article too
- Structuring articles, writing abstracts, identifying key words
- Developing an achievable writing plan
- Overview of what to expect from the review process
Whanaungatanga will enable useful networking with like-minded people.
Participants will leave with:
- clear on their next steps in relation to academic publishing,
- completed abstract(s)
- a list of planned publications
- oversight of academic publishing
- more confident to put pen to paper
$300 per person ($100 students)
