Advanced CTA Workshop - Online

Critical Tiriti Analysis (CTA) is a practical tool for assessing how policies and institutional documents uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi. It reveals how Crown and other agencies continue to privilege monocultural practice while limiting tino rangatiratanga and invites organisations to embrace genuine engagement with Te Tiriti. Widely applied across Crown, community, and education, CTA has become a benchmark for embedding Māori worldviews, equity, and Tiriti relationship commitments. By exposing structural racism in policy and practice, CTA shifts attention from individual prejudice to systemic change. It equips practitioners, researchers, and students to identify inequities, propose alternatives, and reframe policy critique in Aotearoa.

This advanced CTA training is designed for practitioners with an existing foundational understanding of Te Tiriti.
